1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use harrowvale.co.uk or buy from Harrow & Vale UK. The store is operated by GCL Ventures LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company. Our contact information appears at the end of these Terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a provision conflicts with mandatory UK consumer law, that law prevails.

2. Eligibility and information you provide

You must be legally capable of entering a contract. Information supplied during checkout must be complete and accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding any account credentials and for activity carried out through your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

3. Product information

We aim to describe and display products accurately, including material, colour, size and fit. Screen settings and lighting can affect colour appearance. Measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.

We may correct genuine errors and update product information. We will not replace an agreed product with a materially different item without the customer's consent. Products remain subject to availability.

4. How the contract is formed

The checkout process allows you to review and correct the order before submission. Placing an order is an offer to buy. We will send an acknowledgement after submission. Unless we expressly say otherwise, the contract is formed when we email a dispatch confirmation.

We may decline an order for legitimate reasons, including unavailable stock, an obvious pricing error, delivery restrictions, failed payment or reasonable fraud concerns. If payment has been taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund it.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling and include all applicable taxes, duties and charges payable by the customer in connection with the purchase and delivery. The checkout total is the final amount payable for the order, with no additional tax, customs duty, import charge or carrier handling fee collected upon delivery. Payment terms are explained in our Payment Policy, and delivery information appears in our Shipping Policy.

6. Delivery

We deliver using the options and estimates stated in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss or damage remains with us until the goods come into the customer's physical possession or the possession of a person identified by the customer, except where the customer independently commissions a carrier that we did not offer.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy explains the 30-day returns promise, statutory cancellation right and remedies for faulty goods.

8. Acceptable website use

You may use the website only for lawful personal or household purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape it in breach of applicable law, misuse another person's account, commit fraud, or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or our legal rights.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise identified, website design, text, graphics, photographs, logos and other original content belong to or are licensed to GCL Ventures LLC. You may view and make ordinary personal use of the site. No other licence is granted. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.

10. Reviews and customer content

Content submitted to us must be honest, lawful and based on genuine experience. It must not violate another person's rights or contain malicious code. If we display customer content, the customer grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display it for operating and promoting Harrow & Vale. We may remove unlawful, deceptive or irrelevant content, but will not manipulate reviews to create a misleading impression.

11. Third-party services and links

The site may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content or independent transactions, but this clause does not exclude responsibility that the law places on us for services we select to perform our contract.

The store is hosted by Shopify. Purchases are made from GCL Ventures LLC, not Shopify.

12. Our responsibility

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of mandatory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or for loss caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control, subject to the customer's mandatory rights.

13. Privacy

Our use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Cookie and similar-technology choices are offered through a compliant consent tool where required.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales for customers resident in England or Wales, without depriving a customer living elsewhere of mandatory protections available in their home jurisdiction. Customers in Scotland may rely on applicable Scots law and bring proceedings in Scottish courts. Customers in Northern Ireland may rely on applicable Northern Irish law and bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. Customers remain free to seek independent advice or use any dispute-resolution or court process available under applicable law.

15. Changes

We may update these terms prospectively for legal, operational or security reasons. The version applying to an order is normally the version presented when that order was placed. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
